Fluffy like clouds! That’s how I would describe this new addition to my yarn stash. I have to admit I don’t really know what clouds feel like, I’m sure they would feel wet on my hands instead of fluffy, but you know what I mean! Let me introduce…
Zacht als een wolk, dit nieuwe garen dat ik heb vergaard… Nou ja, ik weet eigenlijk niet of een wolk wel zo zacht is, ik kan me voorstellen dat wolken eerder nat aanvoelen dan zacht! Maar je weet vast wat ik bedoel 😉 Laat ik jullie voorstellen aan.. 

…Scheepjes Sweetheart Soft*! This yarn has been out for a few months now, and I finally figured out what I want to make with it! I had made a crochet swatch before, but it was kind of tricky to see the stitches. After a while I got the hang of it and realized I needed to FEEL where the stitches were, rather than trying to tell them apart with my eyes. But still, I figured to take the easy road and knit for my next project. Even with yarn as fluffy as this, you can still count the stitches easily on your needles.
…Scheepjes Sweetheart Soft*! Dit garen is al een aantal maanden op de markt, maar nu weet ik eindelijk wat ik ermee wil gaan maken! Ik had eerder al een testlapje gehaakt, en vond het best lastig om de steken te zien. Na een tijdje kreeg ik het onder de knie, en merkte ik vooral dat het veel makkelijker was om de steken te VOELEN dan ze proberen te zien. Maar ook al zou het haken van dit garen me nu wat vlotter verlopen dan bij mijn eerste poging, toch koos ik ervoor om mijn volgende project ermee te breien. Zelfs met garen dat zo fluffy is als dit, kun je de steken toch gemakkelijk tellen op je naalden. 

See how fluffy it is? Mmm… so luscious!! I’m knitting with it as we speak, and the fabric it creates is supersoft, like a big bath towel, or cosy house slippers.. Enough hints for now, I’ll have more to show you next week!
Zie je hoe dik en pluizig het is? Mmm… echt een heerlijke textuur. Ik brei er op het moment mee terwijl ik dit schrijf, en de ‘stof’ die je ermee breit is zo superzacht.. Het doet me denken aan grote luxe badhanddoeken, of van die zachte sloffen. Genoeg gepraat voor nu, volgende week heb ik meer om te laten zien!
