Have you heard the BIG NEWS yet? I’m sure you have! The Scheepjes CAL 2018 has been announced, and the designer is the wonderful Dedri Uys from the blog Look At What I Made, worldfamous for designing THE Sophie’s Universe, a hugely popular crochet-along from 2015. Thousands of blankets have been made so far, I’ve made one too because I simply couldn’t resist!
Dedri Uys has done it again, she has designed this Beauty of a blanket for the new Scheepjes Crochet-Along that will be running from September 12th, and will end in December.

The theme of this years CAL is ‘Ubuntu’, which means ‘the belief that we are defined by our compassion and kindness towards others’. A true feelgood blanket!!
The pattern will be available for FREE on the Scheepjes website, and will be published in the following languages: English (both UK and US terms), Nederlands, Deutsch and Français, with possibly more translations to come.
Isn’t it gorgeous?? It was love at first sight for me; a perfect balance between colours, different textures… floral details… oh! So so beautiful. And knowing Dedri I expect it will be a lot of fun to crochet. It will be a challenge I think, but I like challenging projects once in a while, don’t you?
