Scheepjes CAL 2016 – Week 4

Scheepjes CAL 2016 – Week 4

It’s Week 4 of the Scheepjes CAL! The Week 3 square was a tough one right? I saw lots of beautiful squares pass by in the Scheepjes CAL Facebook groups, and was delighted to see that even beginners had crocheted the square perfectly! Kudos to all of you!

Spannende tijden!

This week’s square is designed by one of my crochet-BFF’s Atty! I always love meeting up with her. She is a no-nonsense kind of woman and she is fun to be around, she makes the rest of the Scheepjes gang laugh a lot 🙂 Atty is wellknown for her flower shawl designs, you’ve probably seen them on Facebook or Pinterest! She has opened her own digital yarn shop a short while ago where you can purchase yarn packs to make the shawls too. She is also going to be a first time grandma this summer, which is very exciting!

Atty’s square resembles high waves from the ocean. She said the waves symbolise the ups and downs in life. A beautiful square with a beautiful symbolism. As usual, you can find the pattern on this website, where you can also find the link to Esther’s instruction videos. If you’re having trouble crocheting the squares, be sure to check her videos! Happy crocheting!
