Knit the striking Meander Scarf back and forth using stranded colourwork. Don’t worry if you’re new to colourwork – there’s a handy video tutorial to guide you through all the different steps of the pattern. Follow it at your own pace, and at the end you’ll have a colourful masterpiece to wrap up in.

Skill level
If you know how to knit and purl in continental style and English style, you can knit this scarf!

Yarn
This scarf uses 200 grams of DK weight yarn. I recommend using 4 colours, you will need 50 grams per colour. The recommended yarn is Weku Yarn Bukom DK (112m/50g; 50% Bluefaced Leicester, 50% Corriedale).

Note: if you use yarn with fewer meters per 50g, you will need more than 1 ball per colour.

Needles / Gauge
4mm-4.5mm needles. The goal is to get a fabric that is nice and drapey. If you knit quite loose, you will need 4mm needles. If you knit quite tight, you will need 4.5mm or larger needles.

Size
If you follow the pattern as it is written, your finished scarf will be approx. 131cm / 51 ½ inches long, and 29cm / 11 ½ inches wide at the widest point, after blocking.

If you have any questions regarding the pattern you can ask them in my Facebook group, and of course this is also a great place to share your pictures. Happy knitting!
