Magic Loop Knitting

Magic Loop is a great technique which allows you to knit something with a small circumference on a long circular needle. You can knit socks, hats, sweaters and shawls for example using the same cable length. I prefer a circular needle of 80cm length, but I also know knitters who favour a 100cm length cable.

Mastering Magic Loop means you no longer need an assortment of cable lengths, because you only need a 80cm length needle! It is also a great alternative for double pointed needles if you’re having trouble with those. Watch the video below to get started.
