The Meander Scarf

Meander Scarf Knitting Pattern

Knit the striking Meander Scarf back and forth using stranded colourwork. Don’t worry if you’re new to colourwork – there’s a handy video tutorial to guide you through all the different steps of the pattern.

The Meander Scarf pattern is for sale in my pattern shops, and the video tutorial is available for free (scroll down to watch it!). Follow it at your own pace, and at the end you’ll have a colourful masterpiece to wrap up in.

Yarn

Recommended yarn:
Weku Yarns Bukom DK (112m/50g; 50% Bluefaced Leicester, 50% Corriedale)
Gold/Pink colourway:
Colour A Caramel x 1 ball
Colour B Raspberry Pink x 1 ball
Colour C Golden Yellow x 1 ball
Colour D Maroon x 1 ball

For this scarf, I used 4 colours of DK weight wool yarn, 50 grams of each colour.

Customize it further

Of course you can also use other DK weight yarns, or you can even go rogue and use a different weight yarn alltogether. Make a sockyarn version, or a chunky version! Just be aware that you’ll probably need more than 50 grams of each colour in those cases.

For the DK weight version, I used 4mm needles, but do note that you may need a different needle size to get the same gauge.

A big thank you to my tester group!
