Scrappy Socks are so much fun to knit! Not only because you’ll be using a lot of colours, but also because each yarn scrap will remind you of the other project(s) you made with it! Plus, you can use even the tiniest scrap of yarn in your stash and use up yarns you wouldn’t use otherwise. Isn’t that great?
You might look at these socks and think – wow. Those are a LOT of ends. Yes, they are. But! What if I told you this pattern includes a photo-tutorial of how to weave in ends WITHOUT SEWING!
The video tutorial for this technique is available on my Patreon page for my subscribers, but I thought to also make it available as a photo tutorial in this PDF.
Sizes available
EU 35-47
Yarn
approx. 60-100 grams of leftover yarns, depending on which size you are knitting.
For these sample socks I used Scheepjes Metropolis yarns. If you like any of the colours used and would like to recreate (part of) the colour sequence, you will also find the FULL list of colourways (in order!) in this PDF.

Needle Size
2.25mm or 2.5mm needles are recommended, depending on your gauge and preference.
Construction
These socks are knit from the toe up, and the heels are German short row heels. I have instruction videos for the cast on and the heel on my Youtube Channel New Leaf Podcast, the links are included in the PDF.
This pattern is available in English and Dutch.
