Description
Designed by Carmen Jorissen
The Chevron Boulevard Shawl is a pattern for a beautiful summer shawl. It’s unusual shape makes for a variety of ways to wear. Drape the shawl across your shoulders for an elegant effect, or wrap it around your neck for the colder summer nights.
This shawl uses a fingering weight gradient yarn, together with a laceweight solid coloured yarn. These two yarns are alternated throughout the shawl, making the gradient appear striped. The laceweight yarn is thinner and will give a translucent effect.
It’s also possible to use two different coloured gradient yarns and stripe those throughout, omitting the laceweight yarn. In that case you won’t have the solid and sheer effect of the original, but having two gradients striped together will make for a stunning outcome.
