Tadaa, hier is mijn met Catona gehaakte lampenkap!! Ik ben er zelf heel erg blij mee, hoe vinden jullie hem? Door de vele kleurtjes past de lamp goed bij elk interieur (meer kleuren = meer kans op match). Toen ik probeerde om één matchende kleur te vinden voor bij mijn beddengoed en gordijnen kwam ik op niets uit, dus toen ging ik maar voor veel kleurtjes bij elkaar. En ik vind het goed gelukt!
Ta-dah, my Catona lampshade cover is done!! I’m so happy with it, what do you think? Having many colours really makes it easy to match with any interior (more colours = higher chance of matching). At first I tried to find one good colour to match my bedding and the drapes, but I didn’t succeed… so lots and lots of colour it is! I’m usually not the ‘multicolor’ type girl, but I really like how this project turned out.
De witte randjes maken het weer iets meer neutraal.
The white edges help to make it a bit more neutral.
Je krijgt ook een mooi schaduweffect op de muren als je de lamp aandoet!

Volgende week laat ik je zien hoe je deze hoes haakt 🙂 Tegenwoordig kun je heel makkelijk lampframes halen bij de Praxis of de Xenos, of zelfs op Marktplaats. Je kunt met deze hoes ook een bestaande lamp een make-over geven zoals ik heb gedaan. Over een paar dagen laat ik je zien hoe je een bestaande lamp tot alleen een frame maakt, zodat je hem weer kan versieren.

But you could also customize a lamp you already have, like I did. In a few days I will post a tutorial on how to remove your current lampshade, so watch this space!
