Het heeft een tijdje geduurd voordat ik goede foto’s kon maken, maar hier zijn ze dan eindelijk: Frederik het roodborstje en Coco de pimpelmees. Yay! Van mijn mini-vogeltjes zijn deze twee soorten veruit het meest populair, dus bedacht ik dat het leuk zou zijn om er ook grotere versies van te maken. Leuk als cadeautje voor een miniatuur familielid 😉 De vogels zelf zijn nog niet te koop, aangezien ik de snavel nog moet perfectioneren (heb namelijk geen idee of je vilt kunt wassen, iemand??). Maar ik heb wel ander goed nieuws voor jullie: het eerste patroon is er namelijk wel al!!
It took me some time to get good pictures of them, but here they finally are: Frederik the robin and Coco the bluetit! Yay!! These two bird species are by far the most popular among my mini-birds, so I thought it would be fun to make larger versions of them. The perfect gift for the miniature humans around you 😉 I still have to figure out if you can wash felt before I can sell the actual birds (making them kid-proof and all that), but I did write the first pattern!
Frederik het roodborstje kun je nu helemaal zelf maken! Ik heb een haakpatroon geschreven waarin ik stap-voor-stap uitleg hoe je deze leukerd kunt maken. Boordevol tips om het haken nog leuker én makkelijker te maken. Je hoeft geen speciale steken te kennen, alleen: lossen, vasten, meerderen (2 of meer vasten in dezelfde steek), en twee vasten samen haken. Het is helaas niet zo geschikt voor beginners, omdat er veel kleurwisselingen bij komen kijken. Ook daarbij heb ik veel tips opgeschreven, om het nog wat makkelijker te maken. I am in the process of translating the pattern and checking any mistakes, so please bear with me for about another week! In the crochet pattern, I take you through the process step by step, and there is lots of crafty advice to help you even more. Although you don’t need to know many stitches (only chains, single crochet, increases and decreases), the pattern isn’t really suitable for beginners because of the colour changes. I did include some tips to help you out but for a beginner it might be a bit too hard. Feel free to contact me for any crochet help!
Het patroon voor Coco is al in de maak! Coco heeft wat meer kleurwisselingen dus moet ik even extra controleren of alles wel klopt. Heel belangrijk natuurlijk! Maar ik ben volop bezig, dus schat ik dat dit patroon ook binnenkort in mijn winkel te verkrijgen is. Ik hoop dat jullie ze net zo leuk vinden als ik!
I’m also writing up the crochet pattern for Coco! This one has lots more colour changes going on so it takes some more time to check everything. And then I have to translate this one as well. I promise I’ll do it soon! 😉 I hope you like them just as much as I do.
