Description

Fiber Content: 80% wool, 20% ramie; non superwash
300m/100g
3-ply yarn
This yarn is wonderful for both knitting and crochet projects. Think of luscious shawls, garments, scarves, hats, mittens, home deco items such as pillows.. the sky is the limit with this yarn! The 20% ramie content makes it strong enough for socks.

Naturally dyed with cochineal. This colourway is from the Stranger Things collection.

This yarn base is sourced from a wool spinnery in Germany. I dye the yarn by hand with all natural ingredients. After dyeing, the yarns are rinsed multiple times and washed with soap and vinegar.

Although some yarns might come from the same dyebath, they are similar but not the same. If using more than 1 skein of 1 colour for the same project, be sure to alternate skeins.

How to care for your handmade item with this yarn:
Always wash in room temperature water with woolwash so as to not felt the yarn. The finished item may also be washed in the washing machine at the 30 degrees Celcius woolcycle. Lay flat to dry and store out of direct sunlight.

Disclaimer:
I try to take pictures that portray the actual colour of the yarn, however colour displays may vary from screen to screen. If you are unhappy with the colour after receiving the yarn, please don’t hesitate to contact me within 14 days of receiving it. In case of returning the yarn, the buyer will have to pay for the shipping costs, unless the yarn is damaged upon arrival at the buyer.

Handdyed in a smoke-free but cat friendly environment.
