Squares everywhere

IMG_4998Vierkantjes overal!
Squares, squares everywhere! Nope, not making a blanket πŸ˜‰ As you have probably guessed already, I’m working with Stonewashed! It’s my first experience with this yarn and I love it! Hmm…
I’m still thinking which colours to use. I think blue would fit nicely with the yellow, winered, grey and brown, but I only have green and purple left in my stash. What to do..IMG_4997Mijn moeder had het idee om wat garen aan de wikkel te knopen, zo kun je altijd weer checken welk kleurnummer je garen heeft!
My mom had this idea of tying some scrap yarn around the wrapper, this way you never forget which colour number your yarn is.IMG_4992In de tussentijd geniet ik van mijn favoriete drankje, kokosmelk uit China!
Meanwhile, I’m drinking my faaaavourite drink from China! I was at an Asian supermarket yesterday where I got some of my favourite sweets and drinks πŸ™‚ Dried mango, yum! Hope you’re having a great day!

    Hi Carmen!
I love your squares and I’m curious what you are going to make with them???

Like you, I’m a huge fan of the Stone Washed yarn. My stash includes all 16 colours and I make sure I always restock them! πŸ˜‰ Luckily I can buy the yarn in Antwerpen, near where I live!

I’ve made so many things with this…recently I made a star garland and currently I making Christmas cards with the crochet stars. This yarn looks so great for these projects!

(If you want, take a little look at my blog where you can see these things, you can also click on the Scheepjeswol Stone Washed tag in the sidebar and it will bring up all posts where I mentioned making something with it! like this: http://myfunkycrochet.blogspot.be/search/label/Scheepjeswol%20Stone%20Washed)

I’ve been following your blog for quite some time and enjoy reading it! <3

    Have fun!

Hennie
