Mmmmm…

Mmm…Mmmmm…Ooooohh…  Aaahhhh…. Ik ben helemaal verliefd op mijn nieuwe garen van Wolcafé, het is zo mooi!
I’m so in love with my new yarn! I really like the ombre colour changes! Ik ben al iets aan het proberen, maar tot nu toe heb ik nog niet besloten welk patroontje ik ga gebruiken. Het is trouwens niet zo’n makkelijk garen om mee te werken, want het splijt heel snel! Maar voor het resultaat heb ik dat er wel voor over.
I haven’t decided on a pattern yet, I’m just trying some things out now. If I said that the yarn is a dream to work with, I would be lying. Because of the cotton, the fibers don’t really stick together so it’s really easy to poke through the thread. But the result is so stunning I forgive the yarn for it, haha.  Ook heb ik nog dit felgekleurde garen gekocht, ik vond het zo leuk uitziet! Weliswaar iets minder yummy dan het Wolcafé garen, maar hier kan ik vast ook iets leuks mee maken. Ze lagen nu voor 1 euro per bolletje bij de wolwinkel! Zeg nou zelf, had jij ze laten liggen?
I also bought this slightly less yummy brightcoloured yarn. I just thought it was so cute! I’m determined to make something nice with it. They were only 1 euro at the local yarn shop, so I had to take some home with me!
In diezelfde bak lagen ook nog een paar bolletjes van dit katoen. In de winkel dacht ik dat het felgeel was, maar eenmaal buiten bleek het oranje te zijn. Ach, ook mooi! Al ga ik het wel een tijdje opzij leggen, anders denken mensen nog dat ik voetbal kijk..
While I was at it, I also bought these two balls of cotton yarn. In the shop I though it was bright yellow, but it turns out to be orange! Oh well, I love orange too, but I’ll just have to avoid using it during the soccer world cup (orange is the Dutch soccer team’s colour). Otherwise people will start thinking I like watching sports, haha.
