Do you still remember that Japanese top I was working on? I suppose you don’t, since I haven’t mentioned it in a few months.. This week I’ve finally picked up where I left off, but I’m only on the second row of the backside. I altered the pattern (big surprise) because it was so wide and I would run out of yarn, but now it’s a bit too tight I think. I’m still going to crochet the backside the same way, and then crochet a wide edging at both sides, and figure out a way to close the sides. Maybe by sewing, maybe by crocheting cords which I can tie together.
I know you’re not supposed to take pictures with such harsh lighting, but sometimes I kinda like the effect. I’ve had enough of the dull grey winter here.. It wasn’t even a real winter, since we’ve had no snow!! Luckily it’s still cool enough to wear my new beret. I’m thinking of adding a pair of fingerless mitts since I still have yarn left.
Doilies? Amigurumi? Meer vogeltjes? Even terug naar mijn ideeënboekje..
With the sun shining bright, my Christmas decorations start to look somewhat out of place. Guess it’s time to take them down, but I just can’t part with this crocheted tree I made! Oh well, maybe I can make a more spring-y variant. I’m so glad I can use my pastels again. To be honest, I’ve never stopped using them. Now I have to think what to make with these colours.. Plant pot cozies, doilies? Amigurumi? More little birds? Back to the drawing board for me..
